tricia tobey
Tricia is a fully-trained interior designer with more than 25 years in the design and construction industry. She received her Masters in Interior Design from Colorado State, after which she worked for Burkett Design in Denver, CO. As a Mainer at heart, Tricia returned to the Seacoast and worked at a Mechanical Engineering firm, where she became deeply knowledgeable in all aspects of the construction process, allowing her to be a key part of any design-build team. She was then recruited to join JSA Architects in Portsmouth, NH, where she worked for years before launching Tobey Design Group in 2000. Tricia's depth of knowledge allows her to represent her clients' interests with contractors and subs to bring their vision, design, and style to reality. In her spare time, she can be found gardening, cooking, kayaking, entertaining, and fearlessly taking on DIY projects at her home in Kittery Point, Maine.
katherine bouzianis
Katherine joined Tobey Design with years of hospitality experience – one of our specialties! Her eye for innovative design is coupled with a keen understanding of operational needs and challenges found in hospitality and office settings.
After growing up in New Hampshire, she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Connecticut College, where she was able to pursue her love for design and travel. After graduating, Katherine worked internationally in Southeast Asia and Europe. Her local roots coupled with extensive travel lends a globally inspired twist on a classic New England design style. Her expertise include AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, marketing, project management, and graphic design. In her free time, Katherine loves to paint, ski, cook, and (you guessed it!) travel.
mackenzie savard
Mackenzie recently joined the team after graduating with a Bachelor's of Fine Arts in Interior Architecture from Suffolk University. Her passion for both residential and commercial design stems from visting the mansions in Newport, RI as a child. Well versed in Autocad, Sketchup, Revit, and Adobe Suites, Mackenzie is a pro at 3D modeling. She has worked at two design firms previously, specializing in kitchen and bath renovations and hospitality design. On her days off, Mackenzie loves to travel, museum hop, and spend time with her two cats, Java and Willow.
kevin
Our newest member, Kevin is bright eyed and ready to work! Experienced in site surveyance and plant pruning, he will make sure your designs are in tip top shape. Working as our office manager, you can find Kevin shredding files and taking out the trash. On days off, he likes to chew on sticks, go on long walks through the woods, and keep his youthful spirit by splashing in puddles.
bella & charlie
Here comes double trouble! This tag-team brother and sister duo are long time team members here at Tobey Design. Bella's ability to select fabrics and keen sense of space is incredibly impressive.Charlie is office security, and knows how to scope out a floorplan diligently. These two like to speak their mind freely, and feel strongly about taking frequent breaks to enjoy nature.
